About Jess Riley
Jess grew up riding Arabians and Morgans and then had the opportunity to take dressage lessons with Madeleine Austin when she was at UVM. Jess fell in love with Dressage while at UVM and developed the skills to be hired as an assistant trainer upon graduation. She has since had the opportunity to work with a variety of trainers and breeds and has been the head trainer at FEC for 15 years. While she works well with all levels of horse and rider Jess particularly loves to work with young horses and we routinely start youngsters here at FEC. With a gentle approach our babies commonly go out and confidently show at 4 years old, winning all breeds awards and regional championships with ease.
